Purpose
The church exists on Earth to share the gospel and to be a support and foundation upon which we can build our lives and relationships by helping people develop their relationship with Jesus. Reaching out to the unchurched begins with one simple thing: connecting to others and welcoming them into our family. (Ephesians 1: 6)
Our Heart’s Mission
To glorify God by passionately pursuing His presence, faithfully obeying His Word, and worshipping Him with our whole lives; to build a loving, Christ-centered community where people are known, encouraged, and strengthened; to make, equip, and mobilize disciples who grow in faith and spiritual maturity; to serve others with compassion and purpose, and to advance the Kingdom of God by reaching our community and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4: 12 – 13)
Breakout’s Vision
To reach those who are hurting, disenfranchised, lonely, or sick; to be a place where people are welcomed with love, experience safety, and find freedom from judgement; to cultivate a community where belonging becomes the beginning of believing and becoming; and to help people grow in maturity as they serve others. (Ephesians 4: 13)
Core Values
These values define the culture we seek to cultivate as a ministry and guide how we live, serve, and relate to one another. We are committed to maintaining the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, pursuing reconciliation, agreement, and a shared purpose as the body of Christ. We seek to resolve conflict with grace, preserve healthy relationships, and stand together in one mind and one mission, bringing glory to God through our unity. (Romans 5: 10; Hebrews 12: 14)
