Water Street Ministries was formed in 1917 for the purpose of advancing the kingdom of God through the gospel of Jesus Christ and to do missionary, relief, and rescue work of all kinds.

A team from BreakOut ministries periodically conducts chapel services at Water Street Ministries. Additionally, members of BreakOut Ministries regularly conduct bible studies with the women residents at the mission.
